Food Is Our Medicine | Youth Mentoring

youth-committee-01The goal of the Youth Mentoring program is to receive traditional knowledge from knowledge holders, apply it, and show other youth how to apply it. The objectives of the group are to hold at least two 1-hour meetings per month. Each meeting will have ten youth (college, high school students) and ten younger children (middle school, elementary students) in attendance. One of two meetings will be set apart to understand and practice a traditional concept, and the other meeting to demonstrate that concept to ten younger community members (middle school, elementary students).
